A24 has released the first trailer for writer/director Lee Isaac Chung’s drama Minari.

From A24’s website:

“A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.”

The film made a huge splash at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year winning both the U.S. Dramatic Competition Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Competition Audience Award. The film currently sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with the critics consensus saying “Led by arresting performances from Steven Yeun and Ye-ri Han, Minari offers an intimate and heart-wrenching portrait of family and assimilation in 1980s America.”

Lee Issac Chung’s Minari is slated to be coming soon. The film’s cast includes Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, Okja), Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho and Yuh-Jeung Youn.
